Fibres
High in fiber food is important in one healthy lifestyle. You can easily add some fiber, especially to your breakfast and lunch. For example, eat whole-wheat sandwiches with lean toppings, or yogurt with muesli and fruit. Choose low-fat or semi-skimmed dairy, which is healthier cheaper.

Hot meal from it season
Buy fruits and vegetables seasonal, it's tastier and cheaper. In addition, pay close attention to offers in the supermarket and adjust your menu accordingly. Make stews in the winter, a pumpkin soup in the fall and save buying those strawberries until summer. Look for a cookbook that is divided by season or look at online recipe sites. A hot seasonal meal is always cheaper than products that come from far away.

Bring food for lunch
Make sure you have your own on workdays lunch takes, like sandwiches and two pieces of fruit. This way you will be less tempted to buy something tasty at the station or in the canteen.
Cheap healthy vegetarian meal
Eat less meat is 'green', healthy and cheaper. A piece of meat quickly becomes the most expensive part of your dinner. So why not for vegetarian food to elect? Legumes are a good meat substitute. Keep in mind that meat substitutes in the supermarket are not always cheaper than meat. But you can really easily make lentil burgers, vegetable burgers or other vegetarian meat substitutes yourself. In that case, eating less or no meat and fish will really save you money.

Sometimes you don't feel like doing it to cook. But you do want one healthy lifestyle persist. How convenient is it if you are in the freezer Do you have some ready-made meals of your own? Occasionally double-boil and freeze a portion. This way you ensure that you always have tasty and healthy food at home and you avoid the temptation to buy an expensive microwave meal.

The cheapest supermarket is not always the one cheapest for you. Make a list of the products you regularly buy and compare the prices of two or three supermarkets close to you.
