In addition to vegetables, sauce and bread, you can freeze much more. Ever thought of these ten?
Did you know that there are products that you can simply use? freezeeven though you didn't think so?
Freeze 1 ginger again
Due to the strong taste of ginger you usually don't need much of it. Keep a piece of ginger in you freezer and grate a piece of it when you need it. Then you can simply freeze it again.

2 nuts in the freezer
Nuts remain crispy for a long time if you put them in the freezer saves.
3 Freeze fresh herbs
Mainly strong herbs such as rosemary and thyme remain beautiful if you freeze them. Vulnerable herbs such as parsley and basil do not tolerate the freezer as well. In some cases the taste will remain good, but the leaves will look a bit wet and wilted. But freezing fresh herbs is especially a good idea in the summer when you have way too many of them.

Store 4 cheese in the freezer
The taste of cheese goes backwards when you use it freezes. So it is better not to freeze a whole piece of cheese. A bag of grated cheese suffers less when you freeze it. So you can easily store it in the freezer.
5 bananas without bags in the freezer

6 wine
Pour the last bit wine or champagne in an ice cube tray or bag. This will allow you to have a non-chilled wine cold in no time next time and it is very useful for pasta sauces that require a little wine.a
7 butter
Handy when you only use half. You can also make homemade herb butter freeze.
8 Frozen cookie dough
Freeze cookie dough so you can make fresh cookies whenever you want. If you freeze the dough in portions, you don't have to thaw it beforehand, just put them in the oven a little longer. Frozen dough is super handy to have on hand.
9 egg white and egg yolk
You can't eat eggs in the shell freeze. Separate egg white or egg yolk is no problem (and very useful for recipes where you only need one part). Egg yolk changes in structure when frozen. You can prevent this by adding 6 grams of sugar or salt to 100 grams of egg yolk. Sugar/salt lowers the freezing point, so the structure of the egg yolk is less affected. Read more.

Freeze leftovers. Freezing food is useful, because you immediately have a quick one meal at hand for a busy day. Dishes that contain a lot of dairy can curdle after freezing.
